Historia Beyond is almost all suites
Of the 28 rooms on this ship, 22 are suites and only 6 are cabins. That is close to four suites for every cabin, and the highest proportion of any ship we list. On most vessels a suite is the upgrade you pay extra for; here it is the default and the cabin is the exception.
It carries 56 guests across five decks with 82 crew, which works out at roughly three crew for every two passengers. That is a higher ratio than its sister ship Historia, which runs 90 crew for 88 guests, and higher than the dahabeya Storia. Interiors draw on Upper Egypt and Nubian craftsmanship, and the ship is built around a central atrium that brings daylight down through the decks and opens onto the river.
Dining runs across a main restaurant and specialty restaurants, with chef-led sessions built around Egyptian ingredients and regional cooking.
One caution worth reading before you shortlist it. The ship is named Spa and Suites, but the operator has not published any description of a spa, a gym or a pool for this vessel, and nothing about step-free access either. Its sister ship Historia names all of these. We do not assume facilities from a ship’s name, so ask us to confirm what is actually on board, along with the sailing lengths and rates, none of which are published yet.
