What is a felucca?
A traditional wooden sailing boat. You sail around Elephantine Island, past Kitchener's Island and below the Aga Khan Mausoleum.
What happens at the village?
You walk through lanes of brightly painted houses and stop for tea with a Nubian family.
What if there is no wind?
On a still day the felucca may be towed. Late afternoon usually has the best breeze and light.
