What do you see from the balloon?
The Temple of Hatshepsut against the cliffs, the Ramesseum, the Colossi of Memnon, the green fields of the West Bank and the Nile, as the sun comes up over the East Bank.
How long is the flight?
Usually around 45 minutes to an hour in the air, depending on the wind. With pickup, the crossing and the return, the whole outing takes a few hours and you are back for breakfast.
Can you do it from a Nile cruise?
Yes. Most cruises moor in Luxor overnight, and the pickup is from your ship.
What if the weather is bad?
Flights only go ahead when the authorities allow it. The rebooking or refund terms for a cancelled flight are set out in your quote.
