Is five days enough for Egypt?
It is enough for the two places most people come for, Giza and Luxor, if you fly between them. It is not enough to add Aswan or a cruise.
What does the plan look like?
Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum on day two, a morning flight to Luxor for Karnak and Luxor Temple on day three, and the West Bank on day four, with an optional sunrise balloon.
Can I stretch it?
Yes. Two extra nights add Aswan; four extra nights let you swap Luxor hotels for a short Nile cruise.
